I have a 1992 AR4 Cougar with a leaky reg, and was debating the options for getting it back on song. As Mr. Ostler only works on AR5 Rippers my choices are whether to get it back to Steve for a service or be brave and fit a Robert Lane reg so I can service it myself.

Any thoughts as to the better option?

So does Mr. Ostler, but neither option are open - too much dosh. I meant between a Ripley service and fitting a Robert Lane reg as an alternative.

Either steve at ripley, or nick murphy, are the only ones to sort them tbh, you may have to wait for nick if your not in a rush.

I have no knowledge of the Rob Lane reg but I have met and dealt with Rob a couple of times, great guy to deal with :)
