I'm having the shroud milled off my AR20. That leaves a nicely exposed steel barrel to go all brown and rusty. Has anyone any suggestions for a coating that will stay on and be easy (ish) to apply? I'd also welcome suggestions as to what to do to hide/disguise the 'o' ring groove near the end of the barrel.

    Cheers
    Barry

Leave a piece of the shroud in place to hide it.

    Purely for aesthetics boyo.

Thanks Jinx, as Lofty posted, all sorted now :)

I like the sound of shrink tube, never thought of that.

What diameter is the barrel Lofty/Jinx? I checked the Steyr ones and they say 16mm but I've measured mine as 15mm??

    Hi,
The airstripper on mine Barry is a UKNeil one and was advertised as 16mm.

    Cheers,
    Lofty
