I'm not after the certificate, but the detailed policy with all the legal eagle smallprint.

Want to check a few things asap (nothing major, just want to do some research)

    Cheers

    Rob

PS can be emailed to me on admin@shooting-the-breeze.com

Rob, I believe these are only available on application to the NSRA for a copy of The Master Policy Documents

Placed a call with the NSRA today, and found out that the Master Policy wording document is several 100 pages thick.

So i'm awaiting Ali's return to ask a couple of questions.

It was stated to me that it's hardly, if ever, asked for. I like to know the small print and how it covers me, i'm surprised no-one else has requested it. Not a criticism, but a lot of stuff gets bandied around as being down to insurance... it seems with many clubs being under the same scheme, there could well be some common practices that could be made to the sport's advantage.

Yes, that seems worth looking into.
I didn't realise the document was that large.
I've never thought to look into it myself.

Sorry to drag up an old thread but, did you ever get a copy of this document?

If so, is it electronically? and could you email me a copy?

    Many thanks,
    Keith

    Darn.

Nevermind. Guess I'll give them a call tomorrow and ask for a copy.

    Thanks anyway.

I was told it was about 500 pages and asked to forward questions to Ali Aitken... not exactly ideal, but Ali was able to help on the issues we enquired about.

Quite how you are supposed to check things like detailed security arrangements etc i don't know...

Well I hope they have an electronic copy. 500 pages will be quite a monster to send in the post.

I dont suppose you know whether the theft cover is 'new for old' or 'indemnity' do you?
