Ditto that storming springing!
How anyone got 29 on that course with a Boinger is beyond me so well done Martin, brilliant shooting. Course killed me but I had a great day anyway.
Many, many thanks to the massive for a cracking course. Well done to Martin for the top score, he certainly had the spring pixies listening and also well done to Si Higgins for a good score on the course and a brilliant sillies shoot, i knew that last missed ram was going to cost you.
Crash and burn for me and not really sure what happened.....after the shoot i was hitting 1" left on the zero range so took off the scope , checked the barrel screws and stripper for security, put the scope back on, pulled through the barrel and after 5 shots was back on song...straight onto the sillies for a 16. It did the same thing on saturday after i'd shot 50 or so of the new JSB's but seemed ok for the first 15 shots on the course....i only hit 2 in the second 15.. Very strange. Anyway FT scope on next weekend and set up for the Classic so a special thanks to Andy Calps (and Martin) for the offer and loan of the FT scope.
May be new jsb's are a bit softer, clogging the stripper???
I shot my normal HFT rig on Sunday and that has has had the cone removed from the stripper...it's just like an original hydrographics one now that acts more like a barrel weight. i do suspect that it's something to do with the new pellets as the last tme i shot that rifle i won the HFT gathering.....I will try that rifle again this weekend as i've borrowed Bri Samsons down range chrono to do some more testing with the new JSB's to try and find out why they drop more at longer ranges than my batch 22's.
Last NEFTA win with a Spring Rifle..?
Martin's outright win at this WL shoot was a brilliant effort. I'd like to know when the last time a 'Recoiling' class won a comp, over the 'Open' class..?
