Had a great day at Anston today - thanks to all who set it up and helped run it.

Everyone left with a prize and a smile on their face - excellent.

Well done the lads at anston good course for the conditions, was about -10 when we started getting up to a really warm -2 the course was about right for the conditions with a couple of 15mm kills, 1 was about 11 yards 12-15 feet up a tree and the other was about the hardest shot on the course at about 25 yards with it being in a not overly exposed position however i think for a gp this was more than far enough away possibly 5 yards to far after all you have only pretty much only got 3 pellet width's wide. A very enjoyable course.

Always a pleasure shooting at Anston:- friendly banter and challenging targets.

The reducers were interesting, especially the 15mm kill. Enjoyed the tree shots at 45 yards and the closer ones too.

Thanks to everyone who laid the shoot on.

Funniest thing I saw today was Neily Daniels talking John Lee out of a couple of rams on the silhouettes.

I thought John was in his bubble but Neil just dangled the bait in front of him like a master angler- John didnt stand a chance :)

    Good scores

    Has to be said,

There are some good scores there as Anston is always a cracking place to shoot.

Was ole CALPS there today then cant see his name there?

One score has to be Neil Daniels with the boinger 28, damn that is a score fella Well Done.

Wish this place was closer to South Wales, I would grabbed a few and come up for the day.

Need to get some shooting in on targets....

Thanks Berty, the twanger's shooting lovely right now, really confident with it, I'm just disappointed the Weerhorch Ninja couldn't make it, I'd have liked to have shown him how it's done! :D

    Damn good score

    Well Neil,

Congratulations where they are due, that score looks superb compared to the pcp scores. Ozzy put in a superb score as well mind.

Well done to the lads who got top scores as well. Just a shame I couldnt get up there, would have been nice to catch up with you lads before Xmas.

Hows that driveway of yours looking at the mo Neil???

Most of the Anston crew (including Calps) don't actually shoot the comp - they just run around all day making sure all thge shooters are happy :)

Well - that is what normally happens - they seemed to spend the day huddled round the fire as it was bloooooody freezing :)
