Anyone have either a 9003 or 8002 for sale?
I do like the 8002 , 9003 . but shooting wise there is little in from the 2002 . cept of course a lot of money . the real difference i have found is that the 2002 strings shots up and down slightly . we are talking a quarter of an inch here , against the 9003 / 8002 . if you could get a export barrel for the shutz 2002 ( 25 inches long, no longer made ) it would give the same effect as the 9003 / 8002 . IE a dead feel when shooting . but if you have the dosh , why not . ??? HOLLY
I have the 2002 to be honest the 9003 is a completely different rifle it is a hundred percent dead the 2002 or my 2020 you can feel movement the 2020 is better than the 2002 slightly as they are basically the same rifle only because the 2020 fits a lot better in the alutec stock, I have shot nearly all rifles out there and owned most nothing I have shot compares to my 9003 hence why im selling most of my rifles, I want a 8002 only because I don't have 1 and I just want a back up rifle.
We have a 8002 and a 9003 at the club , at 50 yards benched they cannot outgroup my 2002 , at the last service by welham with a mod to the reg on my MK1 , it came out as a 2020 . welham says he prefers the laminate stock over the alutech stock because of the diffrent materials used . IE different expansion rates in the heat and cold . luck HOLLY
Just thought id mention the only thing carried over from the 2002,2020,2025 to the 8001,8002,9003 is the reg and the later cylinders everything else changed in 2004, as for grouping think ill have to come to your club with mine as its pellet on pellet of couse might be because jon sorted mine:shot:
Also I have both laminate and alutec no movement in either.
