Which way do you fit AJP rails?
Do you put the AJP logo on the right hand side?
I would say the ajp goes on the right hand side of the gun, that way it's on show when you shoot.
If you can't work this out you really shouldn't be anywhere near a rifle.
well he did bloody ask instead of mess around and cause an accident.
With your attitude dont bother replying to my threads please, if you cant help or be constructive maybe you shouldnt be on air rilfe forums.
Ive used lots of mounts and some are more central then others depending on which side you put the bolts.
I was given the rail earlier today to try and not even really given it much thought, though now i have had look i can see the slope level, so will put it on the AJP on the right side for my BSA platinum.
The experienced full bore shooter couldnt tell me which way to mount it in the quick exchange of him nicely lending it to me i will tell him to stay away from rifles aswell.
I know with the AJP rails are made to suit the dimensions of the rifles rail..
The rail is normally matched exact dimensionally to the loading tray on the breech...
What gun is the rail going on?
That would be good advice.
Its a Steyr rail to try on my AR20 breech alignment is close to perfect basicly just the chamfer of the dove tail inbetween the rail gap and with the rail clamping onto the dovetail like a BKL mount i would hope its central, and i can see the slope cut into the rail now so know which way round to mount it.
Is AJP Johno in the midlands winter league? i did my first ever shoot with him at the greyhound.
Yes, he does the midland winter league, Anthony Johnson aka knobman on here AJP engineering..
On the steyr rail the AJP is on the Right or starboard side side if you are a sailor ??? HOLLY
Makes sense i wonderd why people where asking him for sidewheels
Aye Aye captain, ope yee not implyin am a limpy wristy captain.
I don't think you should enter any popularity contests Neil.
Why ever not Kenneth, everyone knows I'm lovely.
I like you Neil, but then I've always had peculiar tastes.
I've always found you a polite and helpful chap who minds his p's & q's at all times actually
The first occasion I ever met Neil was at the Bisley GP, 2013; when he explained to me, in considerable detail, why I didn't have a lot going for me. If I remember correctly, my score at that point, was 2.
It was that day at Bisley, shooting round with Simon and Neil, that made me want to 'have a go at FT'. It was the best day I've had in a comp so far. I enjoyed it enormously.
Neil was proved to be right, of course. What you see is what you get with Neil. Lovely ?? I'm not too sure about, but .........
if you get a chance during the summer league series, have a chat with Sam and shoot a comp, partnered by Neil.
I guarantee that you'll enjoy it.
You may not totally recover from it - however ...... you will definitely see the world in a different light.
oh, and don't worry if he calls you sh*gg*r. He calls everybody that.
Fair enough Jack though " What you see is what you get with Neil" so you want me to pair up in shoot with a ignorant arrogant condescending wind up merchant chutney ferret
I love chutney and I like ferrets, so Neil you re alright in my eyes big man!
No. You've completely misunderstood. o
Go round with Neil !!
Do you like your ferrets and chutney together Woody ? In a sandwich or with a salad ?
