I certainly am not intending to compete with John, but I would as a curiosity, like to know who produced that air stripper of his. It definitely looks like a Leupy's production to some extend.

    thanks ! :)

Yes I can confirm the above answer, but it was made extra long as John uses a Barley Twist Barrel, and they are short compared to the long air cylinder. I hope this helps.
PS. Its not an Air Stripper (has not got an adjustable cone) its a muzzle weight.

Ah, yes. thanks for the picture. As has already been said, it is a longer Hydrographics made one. I have a standard one that was on my Barley twist barrel and that also has no cone. Just top vents to remove flip.

Onto the subject of Steyr Strippers. I have 2 Steyrs and one has the Steyr double cone stripper fitted that added nothing to grouping accuracy but did remove a tiny amount of 'flip' from the 'clean' barrel. My other Steyr has a stripper with cone made by UK Neil that i tried for an hour but the groups were worse. I removed the centre cone and left the stripper now as a vented weight (now same as the Hyd one) and the groups tightened back to superb with no barrel 'flip'

Neil gets superb grouping with his Steyr and stripper fitted....i think nominal 4mm gap from barrel end to front of stripper.
