Does anyone know if AirArms are manufacturing left hand versions of the FTP 900 yet ?
I asked Air Arms the very same question earlier by email, and they told me to contact my local retailer as they would need to ask the wholesaler as to the availability.

Why they couldn't just answer the question themselves is beyond me. Like talking to a bloody politician ! :eek:o

Hopefully there is someone in the know on here ?

Didn't they say they were looking at it mid to end of the year, but I recon they need to fix the leaks in the RH one 1st.

If someone contacted my business to ask a straightforward question, I would give them an answer. If I didn't respond to them, then they would go elsewhere.
If that is their level of customer service at enquiry level, then god help you if you have any real issues.
As a comparison , I bought a second hand mac book stand off eBay. It did not have the insert for my particular macbook, so I enquired with the company ( American) as to where I could buy the correct one.
Got an email back within 24 hrs telling me they did not sell them in uk, and they were $5 in U.S, but with import duty, postage etc it would work out very expensive, so to get around it , they would send me one absolutely free of charge.
Ok, it's only a cheap item, but that is customer service, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend their products.
If I knew that someone wanted to splash out £1500 on my product I would be going out my way to make sure they didn't go anywhere else.
Think high end car salesman selling a model with a long waiting list. Would he / she ignore you? Would they heck as like !
    Sorry, rant over

I asked them for the price of a new barrel for a EV2 MK4 two weeks ago over email, still haven't had a reply.

It probably means a left hander is a way off yet.

When there is good news, folk are keen to tell you. When there isn't, they're in no rush.

I did ask at the Midlands shooting show when the rifle was first announced and was told it would be quite a while?

Pretty sure there will be a left hand stock option in the future, a back-log of R/H means they will get sorted 1st. When I last spoke with them, there was not going to be a full left hand action though.

sent email to aa some months ago...got reply back next day....they were thinking about a left hand stock option but the action would still be right hand due to side wheels on scopes...no answer as to price for a lefty:eek:o

The Airgun Centre gives the option of left hand for + £30.
They haven't come back to my email enquiry either.

As already mentioned, it is highly unlikely that Air Arms will manufacture a left hand cocking action (they don't do it for the S510).
This is a Field Target air rifle, designed to work with large sidewheels.
A left handed stock is another matter altogether.

My Steyr is a true left hander with the cocking lever on the left, I have a big sidewheel on my March and have no problems so I can't see why you shouldn't have a l/h cocking ?
Have a look at my sig, there is a pic of the Steyr there :)

P.s with the modern way of mounting a scope high up there shouldn't be a problem with l/h cocking ;)
