firstly, i am going to presume you have a small monitor?

    Hi Alex.
    Top Guns the Ev2.

some need "sorting" and some dont.

dave pennman (Dyno Dave on here) is one such chap alot of peeps trust.
mine have been through john Ostler.
Both mine are far better ev2 after ostler set them up.

Most ev2 owners are on 8.4g pellets of some sort. try jsb Exact or AA fields.
Sometimes finding the right batch will be more important than any size etc.
Myself I like the challenge of lighter pellets so use Jsb express (7.9g)
One of my ev like them sized to 4.52, the other 4.50. best thing with Express is apart from batch 36, both guns shoot them very well.

    Magic potions?

no idea really, i only shoot them and have no interest in how they work.

However, trigger was much better, consistany better and shot count. Hard to put a finger on it really but overall the guns were just better.
Plus eventually sorted leaking Reg problem.
Give John a ring and he will explain things / options. my next move is to have his reg fitted, but wont have it done till mine fails. Again lol.

John replaces AA reg with his own and service for £200. Bargain.

Not had a reg fitted by John but he has serviced both of my Ripleys and the results and handling have been much better. My AR5s I put a whole charge over the chrono and got a +/-5fps variation over 100 shots with +/-15 fps variation from 180bar to 80bar (150shots).

Replaced all the seals with a better type of o-ring which has a greater temperature operating range.

Will pass his number to club members if and when they want thier rifles serviced to see if he can do them.

Hi alex I shoot same rifle and have found that both Jsb exacts and the lighter mozzies both group very well. Mozzies were hard to come by so I am shooting Jsb express which are virtually the same. You can get a good deal on the exacts and the express pellets from Intershoot in Ireland.
