An honest question from a newbee needs an honest answer surely.
GR01, the EV2 family are one of the most used rifles on the FT circuit today, extremely popular & used by some of the top names in the game.
There are some gripes concerning faulty ones straight from the factory but for everyone that has a complaint there is one that claims theirs has been brilliant from the get go.
I don't shoot one myself personally but my good friend Shaun initially had an issue with his EV2 that required two replacements & a repair IIRC but still maintains that it's a superb rifle & it has seen him climb up to AA recently.
A good second hand one matched with quality optics would not be a waste of your hard earned cash mate.;)

Hi GR01, as Greg said I had issues with my EV2 MkII when new in Dec 2007. However, since its return from AA in August 2008 it has been superb. Always through the chrono at 805-7 with mosquitos. It requires the occasional pull through otherwise it's great. I assume the MK3 is an improvement so I'd have one :)
    regards
    Shaun

my mk2 has been back for a reg leak problem

they had the gun 5 says! - cannot fault that at all.

and i love the gun - in my eyes they are in the same leage as walthers and steyr's at nearly twice the price and tbh i wouldnt have a walther or anything over my ev2

    they are awesome :D
