Looking for a new Sat Nav & unsure what to buy.

Not looking for anything super technical but the Garmin Nuvi which i currently have has done the job to a certain degree for last 6 years ( and i aquired it through my last job so it owes me bugger all as it was free). But i would not have another Garmin it has driven me mad at times and close to being launched out the side window more often than not.

Searched the web now for a couple of weeks & hence the post i'm unsure what to buy.

Not looking for chapter & verse advice just really what people use & get on with , for me needs to be easy to use & bullet proof.
Needs to have the following full uk & europe coverage as i will use it in Italy this year.

I'm not great with certain technology , like the look of the Tom Tom VIA 120 EU UK & Full EU Maps, Live ? unsure of the Live thing as is this something that could cost me money or let me down at some point ?

No specific budget but not going to spend Popstar money.

    Any thoughts please ???

    Scott,

Scott if you have an Iphone just download Co-Pilot,it was about £25.It's never let me down and most of us always have a phone with us nowadays so its one less thing to forget.:)
There's also an app.called Nav Free(no prizes for guessing the cost)also works well but doesn't have speed camera alerts.
