Hi last week at the spring gun champs I saw an air arms 400 in a ACZ Ultra Stock and as very taken with it.
I've been on the Sure shot site and been told they only make them for the air arms 400/500.
I would like to get one and adapt it to fit an Anschutz 8002. The air cylinders are both the same diameter but the breach is square.
Has anyone who's got one let me know if there is enough material in the breach area to machine it out to fit.

Also does anyone know of anywhere in the Leeds/Yorkshire area who has one in stock.

    Cheers

    Hi thanks'

I was really impressed with your gun makes it really stand out and the shape is what I'm looing for.
I think I can manage to mill the breach area to fit so I think I'm going to give it a try.

Hi there don't go to plan at all. Not enough meat in the centre section so I decided to try and get my hands on a 400 in an old beach stock. That also didn't go to plan.

What I finished up doing was trading in the 8002 for a HFT 500 and dropped lucky on a guy wanting an HFT 500 laminate stock to put his 400 into so sold the stock having never shot the in it's original stock and put the 500 into the ACZ.

Then as the black woodwork was nothing to shout home about I got myself some American cherry and did a bit of carving.

Not what I had in mind when I started but it turned out very well in the end.

I'll post some pictures later and let you be the judge.

Sorry it didnt work out but what you have done look great and looking very nice and well done re the carving - super job!

I have a spare Anschutz 9003 alutec stock that I am thinking of doing something with - was wondering if I could get an action to fit it something like an MPR 0r HFT500 etc.
