    Hi Guys

Have any of you got experience with this range of bi pods, particularly for bench rest?

They seem well made, but the price is eye watering for a bi pod, so I'd like some views from people who have owned or used them rather than read about them:thumb:

I'd like something very stable, but not sure about getting a dedicated bench rest stand as they are missive, heavy and not really suited to doing anything else with, so a bit limiting for the investment.

Didn't you have one of the Tier One bipods James ? I used one for quite a while for BR and plinking etc
Quite a wide footprint so stable on the shot .

Yep, but sold it ages ago as I wasn't using it. Now I'm looking at something solid for BR and though I'd explore the Accu Tac ones, particularly the wide version, but few people have them. Ideally I would like to try one, so if they have them at the shooting show I'll have a look even though it won't be on my gun.

I have one of the clones and for the money they are ok, certainly better than most of the Altas clones you see on ebay. I think the lack of swivel makes them a little more solid.

They look very good for the money, but I was more looking at the wider ones and trying to find people with real life experience of them - basically are they worth the price tag or am I wasting my time for the return it would give me?

Thanks for the link, if I was just looking for something for the field this would be ideal.

Jesim1, I have been wondering the same but you are looking at £400+ for one of the F class style bipods and I've yet to see a clone of them.
You will find clones of the "Long Range Accuracy" (LRA) bipod on ebay for £60-70, but I've not seen one in the flesh so
I have no idea what quality is like.

I’ve got one of these. They’re ok if you get your rifle level, then lock the tilt mechanism up, the tilt is pretty useless. What is very good about them is the leg folding and extending mechanism, way better than the Atlas clones. I certainly wouldn’t spend hundreds of pounds to replace the LRA.
Excellent quality materials too for the price I paid.
