    Hi,

A question about the WFTF rules:
Is it permitted during the FT game to use a shooting jacket only for the standing targets and shoot the sitting targets without a shooting jacket ?

    Regards, guido

    Oh Conor, you naughty boy!
We all know there are rules, they're just not enforced.

Probably depends on where it's being held, as host rules fill in for the lack of comprehensive core rules.

Any clothing may be worn in WFTF. You can put on or take off clothing as you want. Nude shooting is best avoided as sunburn is painful and can lead to permanent skin damage.

Your 3 mins per lane includes shot preparation time so technically if you're just putting on the jacket to shoot the standers, it should only be put on once the stop clock has started in the lane. ;)

Looks like You're the rules specialist afterall. ;)
Can You show me where it is written in the rules ?

I have also an answer from Lithuania:
You can use shooting jacket only for standing targets, it is not allowed.

It means "It is not allowed to use shooting jacket only for standing shooting." (Translation programs are not very good in grammar.)

In this case it should be feasible to wear it all the time, normal for standing, around your waist in sitting, on your head when raining. It's the same with rifle sling in England. It is not allowed to attach or remove it from your rifle, but repositioning is OK.

You can add or remove clothing as you wish.

However if what you say is correct and if it begins to rain then you are not allowed to put on waterproof over trousers or if it gets too hot you're not allowed to take off your coat? I'd love to see that enforced :eek:o:p:rolleyes:

You may not add or remove items from your rifle. ;)

    Rule quote,

"Any form of clothing may be worn",

WFTF rules over-rule local RGB rules however as in the past e.g. Local RGB rules dictated and the host country just ignored the rules and did what they wanted to suit themselves e.g. Germany 2013.

As I say, there are no rules :D
