450, the same as was already on it.
Hey up Steve c 200
Hows your friend's barrel getting on ?
We had a muck about with the same blank s over here .............Lead in............
I noticed the rings in your pics , that's why i asked earlier whether that may have been grease .
Ours have similar rings , which are actual grooves in the metal of the bore .............it's all in the thread so no need to repeat here .
Just wondered if you have time to rod pellet down through , does it feel all rough and notchy .
we looked through endoscope and it's all the way through .....
It groups ok now we have found some JSBs it likes. The batch he was using, which seem to work well in most guns, were crap in the CZ barrel. I rodded a pellet through when I took the pics and didnt notice any particular notchiness but I wasnt really looking for it as such. Chances are I wont get another try at rodding the barrel now that its on his gun.
Can I ask why CZ Barrels are the preferred choice, I have only seen them comercially used in the S200 which always seems ok, but nothing more.
My friend went for CZ because thats whats on his mk1 EV2 which groups superbly so was hoping for the same for the new barrel for his Steyr.
Ahh makes good sense, thanks Steve.
Wondering if these are the same barrels Steve
The multiple port thing is a solution to achieving port area without the pellet trying to jump into the hole .
Its a problem with some probe loaded systems .
