Had to grab a pic or two of these...

The drop down palm shelf has got me thinking about getting mine modded for those high standers/kneelers...

No clue on price, but I spoke to Steve about modding one of my stocks and the price seemed very reasonable :)

    Steve Lanyman stocks

Well Im more than glad to say my ev2 is dressed in one of Steve's stocks, there only one way to describe it
    STUNNING!!!!!!!!!!

I got another being made by him now for my Walther. His work is spot on, he works in such a methoical way it always impresses me.

Hes reasonable price wise as well. You only need to speak to James Osbourne about my stock to see what he and all the other lads think when they hold it.

I wont be going to anyone else for stocks to be truthful. I got my 2nd on order and cant wait to pick that up. Steve, Claire and little Stevie are great people and are the most welcoming people you could ever meet.

Im just glad I took the oppurtunity to speak to Steve early in the 09 GP season, otherwise I wouldnt haave gained the stock that I would say is the best I have owned for custom made to fit.

I had a fondle of Berty's a couple of weeks ago and I was quite amazed how well it fit me.

    If I wasn't so tight...............

Steve could find himself busy this summer.

Would it be bad manners to divulge publicly what Steve's stocks costs ?

...and also what is the price of the ISP action ? ;)

    Thks

    Stock price

    Jason,

It all depends on what you want made to be honest. The more detail you want in the stock the more Steve would charge. I believe he works off a figure of an average of approximately £400. But the one I had made had extra little details put into it and was around the £550 mark.

The main thing with Steves work is that the stocks are made for each individual. Theres not alot of people out there these days that work like that..

The pictures don't do Steve's work justice, he has completly transformed the P70. It now balances so much better, he redesigned the inleting and how it is mounted. Like Berty has already said you will not find a better stock maker anywhere' his attention to detail is amazing, i asked him to make it as much like my Walther stock as he could and left him to it and the fit and finnish is perfect. It's not hard to see why his order books are stacking up.

    Agreed

I have to say I agree fully with Dave, I wont go to anyone else for a stock these days. Its a fair drive to go to see Steve and the family, but worth every mile fair play...

Hopefully will be down there again next week, fingers crossed....
