Had my 300 bar air bottle filled today at BEH in Nottingley....
    To 250 bar.

Why can't they fill the b....y thing to 300 bar which is what I paid for?

Is there anywhere who does a genuine 300 bar fill?

I would say heat , as it is filled the bottle heats up the pressure reads 300bar, hour later after it has cooled down it will be a lot less.My local dive shop fills its bottles in a tank of water and decant from larger bottles, i allways get a 300 bar fill.:)

if it is filled directly from a compressor it will be hot, some places fill them in water butts of cold water, but it is still warm when its been topped up again.

place i go to in stockport dacants from large pre-filled cylinders set at 314 bar.

end up with a full 300 bar fill and the cylinder is cold. price 12ltr bottle £3-50 :)

Guns International have always given a good fill (not much use now I know).

They place the bottle in a bin full of water and (if there isn't a queue) they will offer to leave it in the cold water and fill again after a few mins.

    All for £2.50 :)

A real shame they are closing :(
