Never been popular tell me what it’s like.

 

So the event starts again on the 30th September at Lincs. Just to remind those that want to shoot for a team this is not called the ring fest for no reason. Those in Nefta though we would encourage you to shoot for the Emley Moor Nefta team. We are keen to have as many shooters as possible to try and retain the trophy.

With the recent NEFTA series being a tight affair and trophies for the individual shooters spread between the teams I hope some of you can make it to the 3 shoots.

Remember this year there will be an individual trophy for the overall best shooter for the series.

Last year was a great effort between Pontefract, Anston, Redferns and Emley Moor that managed to take the trophy. Would love Donny to join the band as well. The scoring rules are Top 5 PCP and top springer for each shoot to the team scores with Pete being our sole spring shooter last year he did a cracking job but he would appreciate more spring shooters to assist.

remember that the teams will be split up as much as possible so please bring your best banter and sledging.

I had thought of not informing you so the other teams all felt weak half way round but knowing the way some of you shoot the fading eye sight will make you better shot. He he
