What a day, the Showdown always has a story to tell.

Pictures not words though from me, my early exit by a sprout meant the camera got some hammer.

    SHOWDOWN

Well done those who managed to win and many thanks to the admin staff and the Anston crew who looked like they were working hard.

Brilliant photos James, captures the day perfectly. Noticed one of calps old side wheels in there. Well done to the winners and the losers, a testament to there skills just for getting there.

The kneeler in photo 2 looks illegal,or are the rules different for the showdown?

Wouldn't cock. Looks like roller bearings and cocking level went rusty after Saturday's soaking.

The bean bag should be under the knee OR supporting the ankle with the knee on the ground as per the photos on the BFTA main shoot rules, not under the knee and ankle at the same time,i am sure his shoot partner would have scored the target as a miss as per the rules.

You must have x Ray eyes to see through the bean bag, had you been there you would have seen that my knee was on the edge of the bag, all my positionals are taken per the BFTA rules, and no, I was given the hit

Think so. Field stripped it with the aid of Mr Murphy and Daniels.

Thank you for your kind coments, almost made it worth while getting knocked out in the second round:rolleyes:

Rob, perhaps you could start a thread for your Steyr, it could challenge the length of the legendary 'how do you miss with........'

What, how do you hit anything with a Steyr?... Mind you my cocking lever got about 60 hit on Sunday...

But it would only encourage the Ginger one...
