If someone referred to a scope as a Big Leaper 8-32x60, would they be talking about a Leupold ? ?:)
And in the scheme of things, how good would such a scope be ?

    Thanks
    Jack

You get what you pay for,it's a long long way from being a Leup.

    Hi Jack,

It won't be a Leupold, they do one in that spec.

Can't say I have seen any of the others on the FT scene, maybe better to stick to waht we all know if you are thinking of a new one. Leup Comps are the best Leupolds, but will take some hard work to understand and use them plus they are fixed mag (35, 40 or 45), but well worth it in the end.

An easy scope to use every day is the Big Nikko, bit cheaper as well and usually bullet proof.

    Cheers

    Chris

At your stage of the game jack , it is better to stay away from the Lupes .there are good and bad in anything . but at £ 850 or so getting a dodgy lupe is something you don't need ??? HOLLY:)

    I didn't intend buying it. :D:D

I recently saw a very nice gun, with what the owner said was a Leaper on it.
And not wanting to display my deplorable ignorance to him I thought I'd ask the question on here, where my ignorance is well known. :D:D:D:D

    Thanks for the advice.

    Jack
