Am about to order a Steyr Challenge FT for here in Spain- the choice are 16 or 24 Joules and I'm wondering if there is a reason not to go for the higher powered model.
    Any thoughts greatly appreciated.

If it's for hunting, I'd be tempted to go for the 24 in .20

If it's for FT - 16 in .177 to be WFTF legal.

If you're buying a gun called the Challenge 'FT' I'd guess it's for FT ?

You know it's for everything. I just love the look of the gun and will use it for a bit of everything.
I have just found out I can only order it in 16. J !

If it's for everything, I'd go for the 16J anyway - Field Target is only Field Target at 16J, above that it's some other sport pretending to be Field Target.
