I like to do the first test always indoors, no wind. My Annie 9015 shoots a 8mm hole (not measured ctc) at 50mtr with 8 shots. That is with JSB.
I use the same one for my FT rig, very happy with it.
It does, but the 56 stock is made for people with large hands. Or long fingers at the very least.

I would prefer the shorter barrel just because the chance of you moving just before the pellet has left the barrel is a tiny bit smaller.
I would use something without any stretch, like a strip of regular paper. Tape it onto the side wheel at both ends in a way you can easily loosen...
I personally would not put too large a scope on a springer. Max objective of say 42 or 44 mm. I like Nikko sterling gold crown airking scopes...

Sometimes they act weird when the battery is low or when the battery is broken.
It has helped me a great deal to take lessons 10mtr ISSF shooting to learn the basics properly. And yes practice, practice, practice... makes perfect.
